I have a late 2013 iMac with Mac OS Mojave 10.14.2. I recently got a subscription to SiriusXM radio. I downloaded the Amazon Alexa app from the Apple App Store to my iPhone SE, and I can stream the tunes to the Echo Dot that is included with the subscription. If I'm understanding correctly, this particular app applies only to mobile devices. Interact with the Alexa assistant by using a microphone connected to your computer. The Reverb application automatically detects if there is a microphone device connected to your Mac: it can either work with the built-in mic, or with any other microphone device connected to your computer via USB. Work with the Alexa intelligent personal assistant developed by Amazon from your Mac and control the devices associated with your account
What's new in Reverb 2.2.1:
- Improved card scrolling
- Improved support for skills that play several short audio clips
Amazon Echo devices come integrated with the Alexa intelligent personal assistant, which means that you get to use voice commands to interact with the device, or even to control other gadgets.
The Reverb application enables you to connect to your Amazon account and start using the service from your Mac computer. Even though you can perform the same action via a web browser, the Reverb utility allows you to do so from a standalone app.
Connect to your Amazon account and control your Alexa enabled devices
Right off the bat, Reverb prompts you for your Amazon credentials and prompts you for permission to interact with your account. The best part is that the configuration procedure resumes to this single step.
In fact, Reverb comes with a minimalist user interface and does not integrate any customization options. You can move the Reverb window position, but the app will not remember the change between sessions.
What's more, you cannot resize the Reverb window, which might prove to be rather annoying if you need the desktop space: the app's window is quite large, while the functionality is not very sophisticated.

The Reverb application automatically detects if there is a microphone device connected to your Mac: it can either work with the built-in mic, or with any other microphone device connected to your computer via USB.
Just click with your mouse on top of the Reverb microphone button and hold it down while using your voice to give various commands. As soon as you release the button, the Alexa assistant will start assessing your voice command and perform the tasks.
Desktop client that enables you to interact with Alexa without cluttering your browsers
Bottom line, Reverb is a simple application that enables you to connect with your Amazon account and start using the Alexa intelligent personal assistant either to get access to information or to control devices associated with your account.
Keep in mind that Reverb can control various Alexa compatible types of devices, but you cannot use it to set timers, or interact with music or audiobooks.

After some Googling around, I found a reference to a free app called Reverb for Amazon's Alexa voice assistant that allows one to download it to an iMac. I'm unclear as to whether or not this particular app would allow me to access the SiriusXM network and play it through my computer.
Free online mac games no download.
My real question, though, has to do with whether or not anyone else has downloaded the Reverb app to be able to access SiriusXM via a non-mobile device, like an iMac or a Mac laptop. I don't want to try and download this thing if it is going to raise compatibility issues with my iMac.
I'm not sure that I've made the correct selections regarding the correct topic, etc. Anyway, thanks in advance for your responses.
